    • The stringiness of nattou can be a bit unflattering (*cough*Sho*cough*)
    • In addition to the top 5 methods, they also present the 5 strangest ones

    • “Sho-word Check” [Showa + Word]: participants reply simultaneously with the first word that comes to mind in response to a certain topic in order to gauge their age
  • Arashi’s Homework: “What is the maximum number of balls there can be on Newton’s cradle?”
    • Ohno was only able to make 100, but they redo the experiment with the proper equipment in Odoroki no Arashi 3

014 – Jan. 8, 2007

 

  • Senryuu [Comical Haiku] Contest!
    • Members must come up with comical haiku in response to a particular theme. With Ogusan judging, good poems earn the writer a seat cushion and bad ones earn punishments. The one with the most seat cushions at the end wins!
    • Punishments are very similar to the previous] episode. XD;
  • Arashi’s Homework: “Think of new mochi cuisines.”
    • Hmmm, Ohmiya sneaks in via Nino playing with Ohno’s ear. =P
    • Incl. mochi burger, mabo mochi, sweet/sour mochi, etc.

 

015 – Jan. 15, 2007

 

  • Guest: Manabe Kaori
  • Audience’s Homework: “Investigate and submit different ways of eating kimchi!”
    • Besides the usual bok choy kimchi, other foods [cheese, eggs, and maguro] were also soaked in kimchi in the hopes of finding new combos
  • Image Homework: “What were you doing last night?”
    • A survey to pinpoint talents [entertainers] with similar personalities was done, and they discuss the results of Manabe and Ogusan
    • The staff prepared a bunch of glasses for Manabe to try on
      • Ogura in aviator sunglasses!
  • Arashi’s Homework: “If you blew a dryer with extremely strong ventilation power on a recorder, would an incredibly loud noise come out?”
    • Using an air pump/hair dryer, they try to play various instruments [i.e. harmonica, trumpet, etc.]

 

016 – Jan. 22, 2007

    • She used to be quite the idol chaser and is a fan of Johnny’s

    • Aiba presents Takata and Arashi with a menu of peculiarly named sushi, and each item ordered is prepared by a professional chef

    • Items are: retractable cord on a vacuum cleaner, cork flying off a bottle, open-handed slap, and a rubber strip
